                                                      After reading Michael's letter of Jan 10 1917 to Eiluned Lewis several times, I'am convinced that he did in fact have quite a crush on the future poet-novelist.

Quite agree!  Her sister Medina rold me as much, although she naturally emphasised that it was "all quite innocent". I have many letters from both Eiluned and Medina - I must get around to adding them to the database ... remind me!

                                    Almost forgot. Even a year before her passing, Eiluned Lewis' answer that surely Audrey Lucas (going from memory) was the one, sounds harmlessly suspicious.
