"good ideas of the 20th century: peter pan". in 1994 i was invited by kudos films to present "peter pan" as one of their "good ideas of the 20th century" series for channel 4 television. the concept - a labyrinthine setting of corridors - was their idea; the script was mine. originally the piece was to last 20 minutes, but was finally shortened to around 14, hence some rather abrupt cuts in my narrative. other "good ideas" in the series included "feminism", presented by germaine greer, and "the pill" (will self) ...
