London fringe theatre production of Rosalind
« on: August 26, 2005, 07:28:19 AM »
I've taken the liberty of copying this recent posting of actress Barbara Joslyn's on the ANON forum.  I know she won't mind, and I feel sure Andrew won't mind either!  I intend to be there for the final performance and would be interested in meeting any other members of this forum.

Hello,

I am an actress appearing in one of JM Barrie's lesser known plays, "Rosalind".  We've been running in London, UK since August 11th and have been given a 4 star (out of 5 stars) rating by the London "What's On" guide.  We close this Sunday, August 28th and wondered if you have any members based near London who would be interested in coming to see the show.

If anyone is interested, you can see get the venue details and show times, along with directions for getting to the venue on my website: http://www.barbarajoslyn.com/RosalindTheBear.htm

"Rosalind" is the first show of the evening and is followed, after an interval, by Anton Chekov's "The Bear".

You can also see a review here: http://www.uktheatre.net/articles.asp?Show=Display&ID=286&CatID=1

I feel quite attached to this show because my first school, when I was a child in London, was called "Sir James Barrie".  Funny how life sometimes seems to move in circles.

I hope that some of you are based near us and can make it along to the show.

Wishing you all the best,
Barbara
