J.M. Barrie Genealogy

As a child, before I could read or write, my Grandmother would read to me from J.M.Barrie's "Peter Pan". It was our favourite & read from cover to cover until the pages were worn thin.
Just before my Uncle died I received a framed black & white drawing of 'Peter Pan's Cottage'.
Imagine my amazement when researching my genealogy to discover my Great Great Grandmother was Jean Barrie from Kirriemuir & sister to David Barrie, father to J.M.
Looking at the number of siblings & issue, it is of no shock to me that the Barrie family lie far & wide.
The biggest surprise is my Grandmother never said a word & it was a revelation to my Dad.
