Title: American Tour of Peter Pan...
Post by: vicvalis on December 01, 2006, 07:07:40 AM
...I'm researching silent film actress Colleen Moore, and she often cited watching the play "Peter Pan" with Maude Adams is the inspiration to act (she also cited "Uncle Tom's Cabin": they both have characters that float, I guess, but I'll worry about that one later). What I'm wondering is, does anyone know if there is information on the American tour of the play, from about 1905, or in or around those years? I'm wondering about schedules, and cities visited by the tour. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

There's a fair amount of info about US Peter Pan tour dates in Phyllis Robbins' biography "Maude Adams: An Intimate Portrait" (Puttnam, 1956)
