I have put together a collection of images from early editions of Peter Pan (including Arthur Rackam's Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens and the 1907 Peter Pan Keepsake - complete with ads) which I've downloaded onto our Flickr account. It's fascinating to see how different artists and periods have interpreted the story and I hope you will enjoy looking at the images too. I will be adding more in the future, so keep your eye on the link. Let me know what you think!

Thanks, Wendybird, glad you enjoyed them.
What a lovely gift for your husband - I also love Alice B Woodward's illustrations. She was the first artist to illustrate the Peter Pan story and her images are amazing. Amazingly, she's still in copyright in the UK so unfortunately I cannot add them to my Flickr collection without infringing someone's rights...
My next addition will be Peter Pan's Post Bag, the letters written by children to Pauline Chase in 1908, which are so charming.

I've been a member of DeviantART for quite some time and have found quite a few (fantastic) takes on the story.
Just out of curiosity, would anyone like me to post links to a few of the art pieces here?

There's currently a glitch on the Flickr account and all the images from the Peter Pan Gallery have vanished. Hopefully they can be reinstated very shortly - I'll let you know when they're back.
