JMBarrie / The little white bird
« on: March 19, 2006, 04:30:04 PM »
Hello everybody !
Have you ever heard about a tale that looks like barrie's one (the tantalising heart of the Duke of Christmas Daisies, chapter XVII in LWB) ? This story sounds like familiar but I can't remember... If anyone could help me, I'd be very happy. Thanks.

I also copy an old message from the old forum, because I haven't any answers to my questions :
Quote
I would like to know what these words mean :
"Fairy me lukka", "Fairy me tribber" and "Fairy me bola". "Tribber", "lukka" and "bola" don't exist in my dictionaries. Are they a play with the words (un jeu de mots) ? Aren't they have no sense ?
Little white bird, chapter 21 -
Thanks again. See you soon.

I seek out everywhere but I can't find any explanations.

Does anyone know the history of St. Govor's Well ? I've heard there's a message on it. We must turn 6 times in order to read it, but I don't think it was the same St. Govor's Well in LWB.

THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR HELP.

Have a nice day. See you soon.

JMBarrie / Public domain or not ?
« on: April 04, 2005, 04:26:34 PM »
Can you say me, please, if The little white bird belongs to the public domain ?
Can we make a translation in an another langage (in Europe) without paying rights to Great Ormond Hospital ?
Which books are in the public domain for Europe except Great Britain ?
Thanks a lot.
