Dear members,
This is to introduce myself. I've been interested in J.M.Barrie since moving to Dumfries in 1999. Until 2017, I worked at the University of Glasgow, Dumfries, teaching Scottish literature including Barrie.
I have organised two conferences featuring Barrie--one in 2011, and another in 2015, and co-edited a book with Andrew Nash, 'Gateway to the Modern: Resituating J.M.Barrie (2014). In Dumfries, as many will know, the new National Centre for Children's Literature and Storytelling is in development, at Moat Brae House, which played a crucial role in inspiring Peter Pan house http://www.peterpanmoatbrae.org/ It's due to open in 2018 but is aleady actively engaged in a range of activities, and public events.
I'm doing some work at the moment on Peter Pan, trying to identify resources in the public and private domains, including international materials, relating to it. Any help would be gratefully received!
Looking forward to engaging with the forum in the future, and all best wishes,
Valentina Bold
