Happy 150th Birthday!
« on: May 09, 2010, 05:05:12 AM »
Sorry I am not back in the forum as the "real me," and no doubt those in charge are all off busy with the Sesquicentennial, but just had to drop in to wish "Uncle Jim" a big One Five Oh!

And the same from me. I'll raise a glass to JMB this evening.

Aye. Happy birthday to the man who gave us "an adventure".

Glad to see so much happening to commemorate the life of JMB:

Unique J M Barrie items in anniversary display.
Peter Pan's creator is the focus of a month-long display opening on 1 May at the National Library of Scotland.

J M Barrie's Birthplace Birthplace Of Famous Scot
Barrie descendant cuts ribbon at revamped birthplace
Local Kirriemuir man and descendant of JM Barrie Harry Jamieson will cut the ribbon at the newly refreshed exhibition at Barrie’s Birthplace, Brechin Road on Sunday 9 May at 13.00.

Is there any collaboration between these and the Peter Pan Moat Brae Trust in Dumfries, Scotland: where Peter was "born"?

Not too far away from the Robert Burns International Prestwick Airport, SW Scotland.
